5th Annual Back-to-School Food Drive

Our 5th annual Back-to-School Food Drive is coming up on Saturday, August 23rd! This is an opportunity for the community to help us restock our warehouse with food at the beginning of the school year (the goal: 28,000 lbs of food!). The event is a neighborhood challenge with volunteers signing up to be Neighborhood Ambassadors; we also welcome local businesses and other groups to join in (gyms, sports teams, churches, etc)! As an Ambassador, you will be responsible for distributing bags for donations and picking them up to deliver at the Bags of Hope warehouse. We’ll share more details when you sign-up!

All the food collected from this event will be used in our weekend food bags going home with 750+ students in 34 local schools, every weekend of the school year.

IMPORTANT DATES:

• Pass out bags on front porches/mailboxes in your neighborhood or at your place of business (we provide the bags!) between August 14th – August 17th
• Pick up bags of donations and drop everything off at Bags of Hope on Saturday morning, August 23rd (between 9am-noon)
